Manually installating the McCoy et al 2006 Package cpcbp in R (just for Linux machinnes)
cpcbp is a R package developed by McCoy and colleagues that permits evaluate differences in morphological data among groups removing body size (or mass effects). Thus, a nice tool for those studying sexual dimorphism.
Now let’s deal with installation of cpcbp package
First of all be sure that packages MASS and lattice are installed in your R, you can check it by using installed.packages() command.

Now using your web browser download the file cpcbp_0.3.2.tar.gz from http://www.math.mcmaster.ca/~bolker/R/src/contrib/
Now in the command line type install.packages(“/home/data/Rwork/cpcbp_0.3.2.tar.gz”, repos=NULL, lib=”/usr/local/lib/R/site-library/”)
must be replaced by the patch to the file cpcbp_0.3.2.tar.gz on your computer
must be replaced by the patch to your R’s siite-library directory.
If everything is ok you can now load the package by typing
